English: Bilingual plaque on the front of the town hall of Csepel commemorating the Hungarian aid to Poland. This is a replica of the Polish plaque witch had been unveiled March 22, 2011 near the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw. The text in Hungarian and Polish:
”In paying tribute to the Hungarian nation has provided friendly assistance to the Republic of Poland threatened with death by the Bolshevik aggression. In the time of our struggles decisive importance, August 12, 1920 a transport of 22 million rounds of ammunition arrived in Skierniewice from Budapest, by the Manfred Weiss Establishments at Csepel. Between 1919 and 1921 the Kingdom of Hungary sent to Poland some 100 million carbine cartridges as well as artillery shells and military equipment in large quantities. Grateful Polish Nation. March 2012” (Budapest, District XXI, Szent Imre Square Nr 10)Français : Plaque bilingue sur le front da la mairie de Csepel commémorant l’aide hongroise à la Pologne. Elle est une réplique de la plaque polonaise qui a été inaugurée le 22 mars 2011 près du tombeau du soldat inconnu à Varsovie. Son texte en hongrois et polonais :
« En payant un tribut à la nation hongroise qui a apporté son aide amicale à la République de Pologne ménacée de mort par l’agression bolchevique. Dans le temps de nos luttes de décisive importance, le 12 août 1920 un transport de 22 million de munitions est arrivé à Skierniewice à partir de Budapest, de la part des Établissements Manfréd Weiss de Csepel. Entre 1919 et 1921 le Royaume de Hongrie a envoyé à la Pologne quelque 100 million de cartouches de mousqueton, ainsi que des obus d’artillerie et équipements militaires en grande quantité. La Nation polonaise reconnaissante. Mars 2012 » (10 place Szent Imre, Budapest, 21e arr.)Magyar: A Lengyelországnak nyújtott magyar segítségre emlékeztető kétnyelvű tábla a csepeli városháza homlokzatán; másolata annak a lengyel emléktáblának, amelyet 2011. március 22-én avattak fel az ismeretlen katona sírjánál Varsóban. Szövege magyarul és lengyelül:
„Tisztelettel adózva a magyar nemzetnek, amely baráti segítséget nyújtott a bosevik agresszió által halálosan fenyegetett Lengyel Köztársaságnak. Sorsdöntő jelentőségű küzdelmeink időszakában, 1920. augusztus 12-én 22 millió lövedéket tartalmazó szállítmány érkezett Skierniewicébe Budapestről, a csepeli Weiss Manfréd Művektől. A Magyar Kiráyság 1919-1921 között közel 100 millió karabélytöltényt, nagy mennyiségű tüzérségi lőszert és katonai felszerelést küldött Lengyelországnak.
