PLEASE, no multi invitations, glitters or self promotion in your comments, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE for anyone to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks - NONE OF MY PICTURES ARE HDR. After reaching the hotel in Budapest, it was late afternoon and it was looking like rain. I rushed to the Cave Church as it was the last thing on my list that I wanted to see and it was not part of the tour. I love the history of the place. When I got there and a church service was going on and I had to kill 45 minutes so I went and took this shot below the church. Part of the old fortifications at the foot of Gellert Hill and beside the Danube River. The hill is full of tunnels but they are closed to the public, some of the tunnels were used as a field hospital by the Nazi in WW2. |
