English: 171004-N-ZN152-0027 SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (Oct. 4, 2017) - Brig. Gen. Rich Kim, Army North's deputy commander, discusses the capabilities of the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) with local and federal stakeholders in San Juan, Puerto Rico to synchronize efforts for the ship's mission of providing humanitarian assistance throughout the area. The Department of Defense is supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
