Description

This looks like the 'Ring' in Hyde Park or at least the part which later became the northbound carriageway of Park Lane. The Police Constable is walking south towards Hyde Park Corner and Apsley House. Hard to date precisely but he is wearing the 1897 pattern tunic and the photograph is in the style of a Louis Levy postcard postcard which would mean that it is 1904 or 1905.

Produced by the combined Levy and Neurdein company founded in 1919; the publishing style is Levy, and the "ND Phot" logo indicates a Neurdein photo.
