Summary

Description
English: Orange tooth fungus ( Hydnellum aurantiacum) is found solitary or in small clumps under Sitka spruce. It has white spines on the underside ( which are barely visible in this picture), with dark orange to reddish flesh throughout. Young samples often exude orange to brown droplets of liquid. It is not edible, just beautiful to admire. #FungiFriday #Tongass
