Description
English: Ibestad church (Norwegian: Ibestad kirke), a parish church of the Church of Norway in the village of Hamnvik in the eastern part of the island of Rolla in Ibestad Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway.
  • The white, stone, neo-gothic church was built in a long church style in 1881 using plans drawn up by the architect J.A. Johansen. The church seats about 500 people.
  • Photo taken on a cloudy spring day in May 2022 showing the surrounding landscape with snow on the ground etc.:
    • Memorial stone in memory of dead fishermen and sailors
