Description
Deutsch: Stechuhr, Anfang 20. Jahrhundert. Der Arbeitnehmer stellt den Zeiger auf seine Personalnummer (1-100) und drückt den Zeiger gegen das Zifferblatt. Damit wird über einen Hebelmechanismus die Zeitstempelung auf dem Papierstreifen im Inneren der Stechuhr ausgelöst.
English: Early twentieth century time clock used to keep track of employee's work hours. Employees would dial the handle to their employee number (1-100) on the face shown here and push the lever. A mechanism inside the box would encode the day, time, and employee number and print it on a roll of paper.
