Summary

edit
Description
English: InterCity 125 trains were introduced into service in October 1976, with the route from Bristol to London being the first to benefit from the new trains. Forty years on and they can still be found on the route, however 43029 is today shuttling back and forwards between here at Bristol Temple Meads at Swindon as the line beyond there is closed for engineering work to install the electrification that will see them displaced in a couple of years.
