Français : Ligne Aiffres-Prahecq, segment de l'ancienne relation Niort-Ruffec (16).

Le trafic voyageurs est suspendu en 1938 lors de la constitution de la SNCF, comme tant d'autres lignes secondaires. Il n'y a plus aucune circulation après 77 au-delà de Melle, soit le pk 27, mais il faut attendre encore une quinzaine d'années avant que la section soit déclassée. L'emprise est alors aménagée en “ruban vert”, voie cycliste et piétonne sur 15 km jusque Celles sur Belle.

Aujourd'hui seuls les cinq premiers kilomètres de cet ancien axe qui en comptait 75 sont ouverts au trafic fret. C'est une installation terminale embranchée (ITE) desservant la Z.A. “Fiée des Lois”, où on trouve notamment une usine d'embouteillage et plusieurs entrepôts logistiques.
