English: Iglesia Movimiento Pentecostés Arca de Salvación, 123 Chandler Street at Center Street, Jamestown, New York, August 2020. The building was conceived as the third permanent home of Jamestown's First Swedish Baptist Church, built in 1907 (from a design by Buffalo-based architect John Coxhead) on the site of the second, which the congregation had purchased fifteen years earlier from the Swedish Methodist Church. The congregation began offering English-language services in the 1940s and continued worshiping here until the early 1970s, when they purchased a larger plot of land on Hallock Street. They continue in existence there under the name Hillcrest Baptist Church. The church is now owned by a Pentecostal congregation of Hispanic ethnicity.
