English: Originally this was the parish church for the area outside Panama City's walls. Built with funds donated by the Count of Santa Ana, it was consagrated in 1764. Rubuilt after de 1854 fire, it was completely remodelled in the XX century.
Español: Esta iglesia era la parroquia de extramuros. Se construyó con donacione del Conde de Santa Ana, que vivía a un costado de la plaza, y se consagró en 1764. Fue reconstruida después del incendio de 1854. En el siglo XX, varias remodelaciones le dieron su apariencia actual. |
