English: Ignore satellite navigation, Oakdale. The sign on the right at the junction of the B4251 and a country lane to Gwrhay and Cwm-Corrwg tells you to ignore satellite navigation. This must be aimed at HGV drivers who presumably are misdirected along this narrow, hilly, winding lane.
I did not see any name signs along the lane, nor is it named on the large-scale online Ordnance Survey map. The South Wales Valleys East AZ Street Atlas names it Courtabella, though further research suggests that the Welsh Cwrt-y-Bella is the spelling used locally. |
