| Description | Arquitectura religiosa, românica, quatrocentista, quinhetista e barroca. Igreja paroquial de planta longitudinal, composta por nave única, com torre sineira quadrangular e duas capelas laterais, adossadas do lado esquerdo, e capela-mor rectangular. Fachada principal barroca, com empena recortada, e composição central de portal com frontão recortado encimado por nicho com imagem do orago, ladeado por janelões. Torre sineira com cúpula bolbosa, resultante das obras setecentistas. Interior com capelas laterais funerárias quatrocentistas e quinhentistas. Púlpito barroco, do estilo joanino, com guarda plena, bojuda, em talha. Na capela-mor conserva-se uma janela românica, que pertenceria à primitiva igreja. Retábulo-mor barroco. Possui lateralmente duas capelas laterais funerárias, construídas pelas duas maiores famílias da região, da Casa da Tapada e da Casa de Castro, encontrando-se numa delas o túmulo de poeta Sá de Miranda. Essa capela, conhecida como de Nossa Senhora da Apresentação ou da Tapada, possui duas grandes lápides com inscrições, uma em latim e a outra com a tradução em português, alusivas a Sá de Miranda. <a href="http://www.monumentos.gov.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=1052" rel="noreferrer nofollow">www.monumentos.gov.pt/Site/APP_PagesUser/SIPA.aspx?id=1052</a> |
