Description

Pequeno e modesto templo de uma só nave revestida com silhar de azulejos do inicio do século XIX. A capela-mor tem também dois painéis de azulejos do último quartel do século XVIII, que representam Cristo a caminho do calvário e a descida da cruz. A talha do altar-mor é pobre e de uma fase tardia. Na porta principal da capela, existe uma inscrição com a data da sua construção – 1761 – e a invocação do templo ao Senhor Jesus da Pobreza e a Nossa Senhora da Piedade. Pertence à paróquia de Barcarena. CLASSIFICAÇÃO: Imóvel de valor concelhio, de acordo com o Edital nº 184/2004 (2ª série), publicado no Diário da República, Nº 67, II Série, 19 de Março de 2004.
