The Herms complex, Park of the Monsters in Bomarzo (Viterbo). These are sculptures depicting human heads placed on a pillar. The Herms were generally placed along the roads and in front of entrances, to invoke Hermes protection on travellers.

Italiano: Le sette Erme all'interno del Parco dei Mostri di Bomarzo (Viterbo). Le Erme sono sculture che raffigurano teste umane, poste su un pilastro. Le Erme in genere erano collocate lungo le strade ai crocevia e dinanzi agli ingressi, per invocare la protezione di Ermes sui viandanti.
