Description
English: The December 11, 1859 issue of Illustreret Tidende had an article about the Danish history painter Frederik Christian Lund and his work Griffenfeldts Bortførelse til Fængslet i Citadellet, exhibited in Copenhagen at Charlottenborg in 1859. The story of the chancellor Griffenfeldt was also retold. It was accompanied by this illustration of the painting on page 89.
