Text Appearing Before Image: Anlasse habe ich dieselbenmit meinem grossherrlichen Ferman begnadigt und ich leiste den feierlichen Eid undschwöre bei dem grossen Gotte, dem Schöpfer des Himmels und der Erde, bei densieben Büchern, bei dem grossen Propheten, bei den 124000 Heiligen und bei dem Säbel,welchen ich trage, dass Niemand im Widerspruche mit Vorstehendem handeln dürfe, so-lange diese Mönche meinen Befehlen und meinem Dienste gehorsam sein werden. Dieser Freibrief brachte mancherlei Begünstigungen für die katholischeKirche in Bosnien, und wenn er auch blutige Ausbrüche des Fanatismusnicht immer verhindern konnte, ermöglichte er doch die Organisation derFranziskaner im Lande auch in den schwersten Zeiten. Aber das FojnicaerKloster besitzt noch ein interessantes Dokument, die alte Copie des ehe-maligen Wappenbuches der bosnischen Adeligen von 1340. In dieser Copiesind die Wappen jener Familien erhalten, welche in Folge des türkischenEinfalles auswanderten und in der Fremde den Namen und das Wappen
