Description

The infamous planespotting area, located in El Segundo immediately south of LAX.

This being the day after Space Shuttle Endeavour's arrival, many casual gawkers are stopping by to see if they can spot the shuttle. Endeavour is already sitting inside the United hangar, whose doors are now closed, so it is no longer visible, but its carrier 747 aircraft is parked rather close by and quite visible.
