Summary

edit
Description A line of bronze Buddhas in the corridor that runs around the main shrine of Haw Phra Kaew. Photography is not allowed inside the main shrine, something I did not really appreciate. Reminded me of India, which is also equally skittish about photography inside religious shrines. There are valuable figurines locked away inside glass cases inside and there is a small shop selling religious doodads. (Vientaine, Laos/ Lao PDR, April 2014)
