| Description | Something I found downright bugging all over Laos, you are not allowed to take pictures inside wats and museums. Likewise, while you were welcome to snap pictures outside this wat, located at the entrance to the LP National Museum, you were not allowed to take pictures inside. I did try zooming in from the outside, but the tropical heat and glare was a little too much, even at that early hour, and the contrast was too extreme to yield a good photograph. So here is some gorgeous red-gold Buddhist artwork (this classic colour combo appeared to be standard in all was in Laos) on the ceiling and walls of the external walkways around the wat.
