Summary
editDescriptionImproperly labeled sulfuric acid tank car 3.jpg |
English: A magnet covering the word "fuming" on the label of a tank car at a railyard in the Midwestern United States. Because these tank cars can be used to transport both fuming and non-fuming sulfuric acid, the magnet was likely in place for a previous time when the car was filled with non-fuming sulfuric acid. This photograph was taken during a Health Hazard Evaluation, a NIOSH program by which employees, union officials, or employers can request an evaluation of possible health hazards at their workplace at no cost to them. |
