Description 100823-N-6031Q-001 KABUL, Afghanistan -The inaugural flight of the first C-27 Spartan transport specifically designed for the transport of Afghan government officials as well as Afghan and NATO military leaders landed at the Afghan Air Force base in Kabul, Afghanistan on Aug. 23, 2010. The new addition to the AAF C-27 air fleet arrived on Aug. 12, 2010 and will contribute heavily to the Afghan governments ability to promote its agenda around the country and to the international community.
