Description
English: Vice Admiral Girish Luthra, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command (WNC) inaugurated the Naval Store and Return Store Office Dockyard Complex of Materiel Organisation on 12 February 2018 at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai. The facility will provide a single window, ‘One Stop Shop’, for survey of stores and ease the administrative requirements of WNC ships and submarines. Fuelling and de-fuelling activities of naval assets at Mumbai will also be coordinated from this new facility. In addition, export consignments for meeting operational logistics requirements of Indian Navy ships and submarines deployed in foreign waters will also be controlled and executed from this complex.
