| Description | Sur del camino La Pólvora, los fondos de Quebrada poseen especies nativas, las laderas y cordones plantaciones de Eucaliptus. En lugares cercanos al camino, crecen Myrceugenia exsucca, M. correaefolia, M. obtusa y M. rufa, Dasyphyllum excelsum (fósil viviente de la familia Asteraceae), 8 taxas de orquideas nativas (entre las plantaciones de Eucaliptus y en los cordones) , Aextoxicon punctatum, Drimys winteri, Citronella mucronata, Chusquea ciliata (endemismo regional), Vestia foetida, Libertia sessiliflora, Leucocoryne odorata (endemismo regional). En las partes mas bajas crece Lardizabala biternata, Ercilla volubilis, una variedad de flores y hojas grandes de Fuchsia magellanica que antiguamente se llamó Fuchsia magellanica var. macrostema y que hoy esta en la sinonimia, la zona es localidad citada en el protólogo para esta notable variedad cuya validez taxonómica debe ser reestudiada, Calceolaria tripartita, Bartsia chilensis, Viviania sp, Jubaea chilensis (estas ultimas tres en la cuesta Balmaceda), Ochagavia litoralis (Salto del agua, quebradas al oeste de cuesta Balmaceda), Adesmia balsamica y Adesmia loudonia (vertedero El Molle) solo por nombrar las especies conspicuas por su escasez, rareza, profundidad de endemismo, etc. |
