This is a collection of drawings of toys, work-ed out in the schools of Los Angeles, under theimpulse of the war. During that period toymaking was a most popular activity and thesale of the toys yielded a large sum to theAmerican Red Cross. The book will help teachers in other cities tocarry over into the after-war times the spiritand interest that was aroused in 1917-18. All the drawings are given full size readyfor tracing in the process of reproduction. Inthe early pages of the book the author gives di-rections for making and finishing the toys.
