Deutsch: Industriemuseum Chemnitz: Schwamkrug-Turbine. Die von Friedrich Wilhelm Schwamkrug konstruierte Gleichdruckturbine war speziell für den Einsatz im Bergbau und Gefälle von über 100 Meter vorgesehen. Dabei handelt es sich um eine langsam laufende Turbine, die mit ihrem Arbeitstempo an die langsam arbeitenden Kolbenpumpen-Kunstgezeuge angepasst war. Schwamkrug konstruierte folglich eine Turbine mit großem Umfang, die nur mit einer kleinen Menge Aufschlagwasser arbeitete, wobei diese Wassermenge auch nur partiell auf die Beschaufelung traf. |
