Description
Nederlands: Dit door Jan Derks gemaakte kunstwerk staat sinds 1974 in de Hofstad in Gilze. Het is uitgevoerd in polyester plastic. Met dit kunstwerk wilde de kunstenaar mens en dier oproepen om geen andere dieren te doden. Het kunstwerk stelt twee zwanen voor die aan elkaar zijn verbonden. Ook symboliseren ze het YinYang teken, wat staat voor evenwicht.

De galg is hier als symbool voor de dood gebruikt.

De kunstenaar woonde destijds in Rijen.
