Description
English: Miss Harvey Drawing, Seated and Seen from the Back, circa 1802, by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen). Although the Museum Boijmans (source) identifies the depicted person as Elizabeth Harvey (1778-1858), a British painter living in France, the inscription on the back ("Miss Harvey") could also refer to her half-sister, the painter Henrietta Harvey (1774-1852).
