Description
English: Incarcerated femoral hernia at the right inguinal region, complicated with ileus: In the right upper and middle abdomen there are dilated small bowel loops as well as the collapsed bowels. The incarcerated small bowel loop passes through the vascular lacuna (space beneath the inguinal ligament that allow the passage of femoral vessels, lymph vessels, and lymph nodes). The incarcerated hernia lies anteriorly on the pectineus muscle.
