Description
English: Inside Drottningholm Palace, August 2017. Hedvig Eleonora's parachute chamber. The room was finished in 1685. The Paradsäng chamber has Sweden's most lavish baroque decor. The Paradsäng chamber's loose interior has been changed over the years. The gilded rhymes and oriental carpet were already in the room at Hedvig Eleonora's time. The bed with accompanying textiles was added to Lovisa Ulrika's initiative. No costs were shed during the decoration of the parachute bed chamber. But the bed did not get there until after 100 years.
Svenska: Hedvig Eleonoras paradsängkammare. Rummet var färdigt 1685. Paradsängkammaren har Sveriges mest påkostade barockinredning. Paradsängkammarens lösa inredning har för'ändrats under årens lopp. De förgyllda gerodingerna och den orientaliska mattan fanns i rummet redan på Hedvig Eleonoras tid. Sängen med tilhörande textilier tillkom på Lovisa Ulrikas initiativ. Inga kostnader skyddes vid utsmyckningen av paradsängkammaren. Men sängen kom inte dit förrän efter 100 år.
