Summary edit

Description
English: Dating from ca. 1885, this milkroom would be a feature on any Cape farm. This is a replica from the farm Rheenendal near Swellendam. Besides used to seive and store milk, this room was also used to make cream, butter and cheese. The floor is made of peach pips and beeswax, providing a non-slip surface as well as easy cleaning of spills.
