| Description |
English: The International Music Academy Orpheus 2009 carries on the idea of an encounter of a “large-scale cultural collaboration”. Together with leading European Universities and artists of the international musical scene, we will build the connecting lines between the music of the Thracian Region and the young generation of musicians from Southeast Europe.
In addition to its Master Courses, the Academy presents a Music Festival, including over 20 concerts to take place in the beautiful Thracian region, rich in its unique cultural traditions. In some of these concerts, the Orpheus Academy Orchestra, based on the brilliant young musicians attending the Master Courses, will present the results of their intensive repertoire study. The highlights will be the Concert Performances, with the Orpheus Academy Orchestra having renowned professors and selected students as soloists. The spirit of European tradition, as well as the collaboration between Southeast and Central Europe, is the creative core of our current artistic production. I am convinced that our era demands that both composers and performers have a different approach to art than before. Music should play a role in opposing the impending spiritual desert. Our primary concern should be focused on invoking in the listener’s consciousness those factors of beauty, humanism and harmony which support all musical material. I hope the Academy will be a small step to the Ideal of humanity and cultural tolerance.Български: Международна музикална академия Орфей 2009, работи и реализира идеята за създаване на мащабно културно сътрудничество, чрез организация на майсторски класове и концерти, съвместно с преподаватели от водещи европейски музикални университети и концертиращи артисти от световна величина.
Академията предлага и богата концертна програма, включваща над 20 концерта. Светилата на сериозната музика ще гостуват на Пловдив с майсторски класове и концерти всеки месец до края на годината. Инициативата Международна академия „Орфей" е на кмета Славчо Атанасов, а директор на форума е световноизвестният български цигулар Марио Хосен. Своеобразният калейдоскоп на нациите ще върне славата на града като културна столица на България, защото в Балабановата къща в Стария град ще музицират най-големите концертиращи артисти. На живо под тепетата ще гостуват легенди като Филип Бернолд, Мишел Бероф, Хансьорг Шеленбергер и др. Те ще бъдат солисти на най-младия академичен оркестър „Орфей", съставен от брилянтни млади музиканти, в музикалните празници всеки месец до края на годината. Академия „Орфей 2009" събира водещи преподаватели и таланти от цял свят. Българското участие е финансирано от общината и това е шанс за родните млади виртуози да се докоснат до изкуството на големите учители, казва маестро Хосен. В основата на този форум са душата на европейската културна традиция и сътрудничеството между Югоизточна и Централна Европа, уточнява Хосен. На Пловдив, като един от най-старите градове не само в България, и като университетски център, му отива да бъде домакин на Академия „Орфей". Така духът на Пловдив ще роди нови творчески сили у музикантите и музиката ще изиграе важната си роля като опонент на настъпилата духовна пустота, категоричен е Славчо Атанасов. Доказателство за престижа на форума е списъкът на партньорите на община Пловдив - Thomastik Infeld - най-големият производител на струни в света, Nova Print, M CAR, Master, Vacolor, както и Австрийската национална банка. Академия „Орфей" е и малка стъпка към идеала за човечност и културна толерантност, заключава Марио Хосен. |
