Description
English: Interpolation plots showing the geographical distribution of ancestry in Puerto Rico. Admixture interpolation plots revealed the geographical patterns of variation from each individual's ancestral proportions and his or her census block. An increasing west to east gradient of African ancestry is evident, with a higher African core in the area of Loíza, the municipality with the highest proportion of African ancestry (47.8%).
