Description
English: Minutes taken from interrogating Jan Kučera of Kněževes (17th century), a villein at the Křivoklát domain, a suspect of witchcraft. Kučera and his two accomplices had dug out a dead body of a non - -baptized new born baby whose ashes they added in horse feed afterwards.25. What did you do with the babe afterwards?– answer: Ramínko burnt the babe.28. What did you do with its ashes?– answer: It was Ramínko who gave a half of it to my brother, now dead, and he left the rest for himself.29. What did your brother Jakub do with it?– answer: He would give it to horses on Sunday before the day on which he would give them fodder and bread.30. Čeština: Zápis z výslechu Jana Kučery z Kněževsi (17. století), poddaného křivoklátského panství, který v roce 1689 stanul před správcem panství, neboť byl podezříván z čarodějnictví – spolu s dvěma komplici vykopal mrtvolku nekřtěného novorozeněte, jehož popel pak přidávali koním do krmení. Již dříve byl Kučera trestán za krádež kříže z božích muk, který umístil za koňský žlab, aby koně lépe prospívali. 25. Co jste pak s tím dítětem dělali? – odpověď: Spálil jej Ramínko 28. Co jste pak s tím popelem dělali? – odpověď: On Ramínko dalho neb[ožtíku] bratru mýmu asi polovici, ostatek sobě nechal. 29. Co je tvůj bratr Jakub s ním dělal? – odpověď: Kobylám ho dával na novou neděli přede dnem, dřív než obrok s chlebem 30.
