Summary

Description
English: The intersection of route 12 to the right and route 365, the pre-modern way to travel south and east across the mountains on the former "north country route" (Hokkoku Kaido) is an offset cross shape. Route 365 from the south takes a turn west (the middle of the photo, heading away from the lens) here at the old commercial heart of Echizen city, passing along the arcade fronts of the shops known along this section of the route as the Zenkoji-Dori.
