English: This dance originates from Sunda, West Java, and is spread throughout almost all of Pasundan, including in Pangandaran. In its history, the Ronggeng Gunung dance is told as a form of disguise for Dewi Siti Semboja from the Galuh Pakuan Padjadjaran Palace.
