Description
English: Ambassador Brink traveled to Irpin to meet people whose resilience and resistance are examples to the world. Residents shared that, in early March, the people of Irpin came together to stop Russia's advance to Kyiv – blowing up bridges leading to the capital, organizing the evacuation of thousands of residents, and eliminating a number of assassination squads. Irpin is a symbol of the resistance and resilience of the people of Ukraine, showing us all why Ukraine will prevail. They are now hard at work rebuilding their community, and the United States will help them.
