English: Kangaroo (Macropus dorsalis). 25:1, 10 μm. Islands of Calleja granule cells. Clear stratification of the overall cross-section; Division of VI into three sub-layers VIa, VIb and VIc. VIb = Capsula extrema, VIc = Claustrum. The external granular lamina (II) and the internal granular lamina (IV) are well developed. (K. Brodmann, 1909, p. 61, Fig. 36)
