Itmann was a coal company town founded in 1916 by I.T. Mann, once one of the richest men int the world. This Company Store/Office complex was built 1923-1925 on plans of Alex Mahood using Italian stone masons. Placed on National Register in 1990. Ritter Lumber shipped in 200 premade company houses in 1919 via N&W and Virginian lines. Itmann was a coal company town founded in 1916 by I.T. Mann, once one of the richest men in the world. |
