English: The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) follow the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) while underway in the Atlantic Ocean. The Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU) are deployed after supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
