Nederlands: Gedenkpenning op het tweede eeuwfeest van het Gronings Ontzet (1862) Voorzijde: de staande Groningse Stedenmaagd, met in haar linkerhand een vaan met het stadswapen. Ze strekt de andere uit over een kussen met de sleutels van de stag, liggend op een voetstuk met aan de voorzijde het stadswapen. Achter de stedenmaagd ligt de Nederlandse leeuw. Omschrift: ONDER MIJNE HOEDE VEILIG. In de afsnede: GRONINGEN CONSTANT 1672. Signatuur: J.H. EGENBERGER INV. J.P. MENGER F. Keerzijde: Een monument met het borstbeeld van Rabenhaupt. Links en rechts vaandels en kanonnen. Signatuur: J.P.M. MENGER F
