Description
Deutsch: Richtung Norden vor dem Beginn der Um- und Rückbauarbeiten, die Gleise rechts sind die Stammgleise der Strecke 6403, nur diese sind elektrifiziert. Links liegen die Gleise der Strecke 6419 nach Dessau (die beim laufenden Umbau unverständlicherweise eingleisig und fahrleitungslos bleibt) und ganz links die Strecke 6855 nach Aken. Beide Ausfahrsignale sind zweibegriffig starr gekuppelt.
Die Elektrifizierung zwischen Dessau, Köthen, Güsten und Aschersleben war noch in den Neunzigern geplant, doch im deutschbahnigen Dieswelwahn wurde sie aufgegeben. Der Harz ist noch immer eine große fahrleitungsfreie Insel.
