Description Deinandra minthornii—Santa Susana tarplant. Included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 1B.2 (rare, threatened, or endangered in CA and elsewhere). It is also listed by the State of California as Rare. The are fewer than 20 occurrences in the Santa Susana and Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles and Ventrura Counties. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
