Description
Deutsch: Die sächsische Verbindungsbahn LP wurde 1888 in Betrieb genommen und schon 1925 wieder geschlossen. Nach der Bildung der Deutschen Reichsbahn war die Konkurrenzsituation zwischen der sächsischen und preußischen Staatsbahn nicht mehr gegeben und der Güterverkehr konnte vollständig auf den Güterring verlegt werden. Der Damm läuft von Südost nach Nordwest durch den Waldabschnitt Apitzsch, er ist etwa ab hundert Metern Entfernung in Richtung Nordwesten etwa ab der Abfahrt Koburger Straße von der Schnellstraße F 2 überbaut.
Die heute fehlende Brücke überquerte die Verlängerung der Apitzschgasse; Richtung Connewitz.
