Description
Deutsch: Von der Bastion Leonhard der Festung Petersberg, die Severikirche ist der vordere Bau mit dem von hier trapezförmigen Dach. Der aus drei sehr unterschiedlichen Gebäudeteilen bestehende Dom St. Marien ist nahezu doppelt so lang. Beide Kirchen sind katholisch, im säkularen bis evangelischen Thüringen eine echte Überraschung. Erfürt gehörte jedoch lange zum Erzbistum Mainz, an den Stadtwappen ist das noch gut zu erkennen.
