Deutsch: Das Gleis 5 als keuzungsfreie Verbindung von Eilenburg zum Güterring muss in dieser Form schon vor 1946 bestanden haben, zumindest existierte der Einschnitt. Wieder verlegt wurde es Ende der 1980er Jahre bei der Elektrifizierung vor dem Neubau des Kreuzungsbauwerkes, seitdem ist es auch in beiden Richtungen mit 60 km/h nutzbar. Im Rahmen des Bahnhofsumbaues, der zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt beginnt, wird allerdings die Schutzweiche beseitigt. |
