Description
Deutsch: Die Kupplung ist im Gegensatz zur klassischen SA3-Aufnahme auch vertikal beweglich und durch Federn waagerecht gehalten aufgehängt. Die schwenkbaren Federklemmen an der Aufnahme seitlich über dem Kuppelkopf dienen dem manuellen Vorauslenken des Kuppelkopfes zum Kuppeln in engen Bögen. Beim Unilink-Kuppelkopf ist eine Schraubenkuppelkette integriert, die nötigen Ausschnitte verringern die Bruchlast etwas. Sie liegt trotzdem über der allerdings deutlich älteren amerikanischen Janneykupplung.
