Description
Deutsch: Ein Rest der Eisenbahnstrecke Connewitz–Plagwitz, die durch den Revierort »Der Apitzsch« Richtung Nordwesten verlief. Sie wurde 1888 in Betrieb genommen, um die Plagwitzer Industrie direkt an das sächsische Streckennetz anzubinden. Geschlossen wurde sie schon 1925, nachdem die Konkurrenzsituation zwischen der sächsischen und preußischen Staatsbahn in Leipzig durch die Bildung der Deutschen Reichsbahn nicht mehr bestand. Der Damm wurde im weiteren Verlauf in den Damm der Schnellstraße F2/95 einbezogen, die in den Siebzigern im Autowahn durch den Auenwald gebrochen wurde.
