Description
Deutsch: Die Bahnsteige wurden beim Neubau nach Norden an die Karl-Heine-Straße verschoben, um die Umsteigeverhältnisse zu den Buslinien zu verbessern. Vom stadtauswärtigen Gleis zur Straßenbahn und umgekehrt wurden sie allerdings massiv verschlechtert. Jedoch ist das kein Wunder, die LVB betrachten die S-Bahn ausschließlich als unliebsame Konkurrenz. Zu einem Miteinander im Interesse der Fahrgäste war man auf beiden Seiten in Leipzig noch nie fähig.
Die katholische Plagwitzer Liebfrauenkirche ist ein neoromanischer Bau von 1907 bis 1908.
