Description
Deutsch: Typ 65d, B4D-NF, 2002 im Rahmen einer Hauptuntersuchung zum »Fahrradmobil« mit zwischen den Drehgestellen abgesenktem Wagenboden und Fahrradhängeplätzen umgebaut. Die an sich gute Idee scheiterte aus Tarifgründen, auch Zeitkarteninhaber mussten für ihr Fahrrad bei jeder Fahrt eine Zusatzkarte lösen. Als Konsequenz wurden die Fahrradständer wieder ausgebaut und durch Sitzplätze ersetzt.
Durch den nicht mehr durchgehenden Wagenboden ist die Druckfestigkeit eingeschränkt, das Abschieben eines liegengebliebenen Zuges ist deshalb nicht möglich. Aus diesem Grund wurde die Kupplung am B-Ende entfernt und das Wagenende mit einer Schürze verschlossen.
